About Me

Hello! My name is Monica Stolp, and I am a mentor for Beyond Education. I am originally from Temple, TX but currently live in New Braunfels and have a wonderful son named Russell. When I am not working or studying, you can find me kayaking, camping, sewing, and reading. I am excited to be a mentor for Beyond Education because I enjoy teaching children and sharing my love and passion for math.

When looking back on my educational journey, I have learned many things that have helped me gain better insight into myself as a learner and mentor. For instance, my biggest obstacle was balancing school and my extracurriculars. My biggest success was developing my study skills and habits. You can find me de-stressing by taking a walk outside. During my time as a mentor, I hope I can give tips and tricks from my own experience to help with time management and prioritizing studies.
